Tampa, Fla. – (May 12, 2025) – Tampa Bay’s premier philanthropic festival, the Tampa Pig Jig, returns to Julian B. Lane Park on Saturday, October 18, with a powerhouse lineup headlined by rising Country superstar Megan Moroney. The 14th annual event will also feature double Grammy® nominees Midland, singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson, Americana favorites Jamestown Revival, and one of Country’s rising voices, George Pippen. Presented by RIPA, Valley Bank, and The Baldwin Group, this award-winning event brings together world-class live music, delicious food, games, a silent auction, and family-friendly fun — all in support of families facing serious medical challenges.

What began as a backyard BBQ fundraiser for a friend diagnosed with a rare kidney disease has grown into one of Tampa’s most impactful charitable events. Since its inception, the Tampa Pig Jig has raised over $9 million, becoming NephCure’s largest annual donor and helping launch more than 60 clinical trials for rare, protein-spilling kidney diseases like FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) and Nephrotic Syndrome.

Now in its fourteenth year, the HopeWill Foundation, which hosts the Pig Jig, is expanding its reach. While continuing to champion NephCure’s mission, the event will now also support local nonprofit partners that serve individuals and families navigating life-altering medical diagnoses, furthering a mission rooted in hope, community, and care.

MULTI-PLATINUM hitmaker, critically adored singer/songwriter, in-demand headliner — just a few years after making her debut, Megan Moroney has ascended to a truly stratospheric level of stardom. With the arrival of her smash-hit sophomore album, Am I Okay? — a 2024 LP that debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and marked the year’s third-biggest debut from a female Country artist — the Georgia-bred phenomenon cemented her status as a towering force in Country music. With more than 2.7 BILLION global streams, the CMA and ACM award-winning Emo Cowgirl has graced the cover of Rolling Stone’s iconic Future of Music issue and was honored with the Rulebreaker Award at Billboard’s Women in Music event in March, adding to her fast-growing list of accolades. Moroney’s sold-out AM I OKAY? TOUR — a 50-date North American headline run featuring her most massive shows yet — is currently underway.

Double Grammy® nominees Midland are bringing back classic Country with a modern edge, blending rich harmonies, steel guitar, and timeless style. Their quintuple platinum hit “Drinkin’ Problem” launched them into stardom, earning praise from Rolling Stone Country, GQ, and NPR. With sold-out shows, their own cruise, and their latest album, The Last Resort: Greetings From, Midland continues to redefine what Country can be.

Matt Nathanson has become one of the most acclaimed songwriters and live performers in music. He’s best known for his multi-platinum hit “Come on Get Higher” and has released several chart-topping albums, including Some Mad Hope, Modern Love, and Sings His Sad Heart. Known for his inspired covers, Nathanson has reimagined works by Def Leppard, U2, and Joni Mitchell, earning praise from both fans and fellow artists.

Jamestown Revival is a critically acclaimed Americana duo from Austin, TX, known for rich harmonies and powerful storytelling. They’ve performed at top festivals like Coachella and Farm Aid, and toured with The Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile, and Nathaniel Rateliff as well as legends like Willie Nelson. With hit albums and Tony and Grammy nominations for The Outsiders – A New Musical, they’re a force in both music and theater.

George Pippen is one of Country’s most compelling new voices, blending wide-eyed charm, rugged vocals, and beautifully detailed storytelling. His hit single “Speedin’” and debut EP Magnolia Nights showcase a timeless Country-Rock sound. With his soul-soothing melodies and bittersweet reflections on growing up, Pippen’s music invites nostalgia, freedom, and a fierce drive to live fully.
